Wow, I have to check my clock - I didn't realize it's tempest in a teapot time!

Bill Harlan, Chiseler-in-Chief at Mt.Blogmore is Up In Arms over the behavior of commentors including yours truly.

The other day I clicked on Blogmore and saw “SD senators get a Prairie Home spanking”. Garrison Keillor has some talents but moral authority isn’t one of them and I thought “---- ---“ (A two word phrase with an ancient Anglo-Saxon word meaning, among other things, intercourse followed by the objective case of he). So I typed “---- ---“ and hit “Say it!”

That was it. To the extent I thought about it I figured it would get swept out with the trash or, best case, get posted (gasp!). Done and next.

Well I was surprised and delighted when I started getting e-mails from Harlan about it. I missed his comment but now am tickled to see I’ve turned the gas up under his ire to the point where it’s contributing to a post. Wheee!!

To Spearfreak I say "Good riddance!"

To Bill I say "Stay on top of this!! Don't falter! This is very, VERY important!!

SDP & Dan Rather - more alike than you might have imagined.

The Lauck / Sibby crowd at South Dakota Politics are typing themselves into irrelevance lately. While Blogmore picks itself up and dusts itself off with a few good posts and a couple of hearty spats and ARGUSVTHUNE wins the newcomer of the moment award with its coverage of Steffi's highway funding woes and the fun it had with the "Who can challenge Steffi?" list, SDP struggles. Even that jackass Epp entertains with his post on Thune taking credit for funding for the McGovern library. Typical for Epp though he hypocritically ignores the fact Herseth did exactly the same thing when she came into office.

Who cares what Randell Beck thinks? Who cares what Dave Kranz wrote THIR-TY SE-VEN YEARS AGO!! What did Kranz write last week? I'll bet it was more interesting and relevant and unique than Ward Churchill, or what Europe thinks of what the US is doing, or if Epp is a Democrat, or little spats at the Aberdeen News forum.

Come on fellas! You had a great start last year. But now you're spending your credibility faster than a sailor on shore leave. Get back in the game.
