Meet the Judge

This is a really cool project. Last week the Reagan Library released 5,393 pages of Presidential records concerning Judge John G. Roberts.  These documents are from 34 folders of Staff Member Office Files of John Roberts identified by Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee as files of particular interest.  478 pages have been withheld from these folders under FOIA exemptions.

You can see the files here. Or, go here and read analysis of the documents by volunteer bloggers.

"Slickens"?

Anyhew, the Majority Leader's position on embryonic stem cells became even screwier with the recent announcement that another non-lethal source for stem cells is available which doesn’t carry the risk of tumor development found in embryonic cells.

Robert George is a freaking genius!

Thanks to the good folk at the SDP blog who picked up several Robert George posts on the NR blog here. George is as smart and creative as they come and he is dogged in defending the truth of the life issue.
